UHF MRI MAGNETS

Ultra high filed magnets for MRI research applications

Seoul (Korea), Maryland (U.S.A.)

Low sensitivity of MRI imaging has always been a limitation to the number body regions that could be analysed by this technique, thus the necessity of developing technologies that could enhance the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the MRI images. Ultra-high field MRI is the magnetic resonance imaging tech using magnetic fields of intensity equal to or higher than 7T is currently becoming the main method of obtaining high SNR images

ASG delivered  two 11.74T MRI magnets to GUGMC, in Korea, and to NIH in the USA. Furthermore, ASG delivered a 17.6T MRI magnet to NIH.

Today ASG is an exclusive partner of Siemens Healthineers for the supply of UHF MRI systems and is currently working on a 10.6T MRI system for the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
